Over the past twenty-three years originating mortgages, he has personally handled over 7800 loans with dollar volume exceeding $1.59 billion. For 2001, 2002, 2003, & 2004, John made Mortgage Originator’s Top 200 list, which recognizes the leading 200 loan originators in the country. He has averaged over $100 million in closed loan volume over the last eight years. In 1998, John received the “Leaders Making A Difference” Award from Bankers & Tradesman for best representing the entrepreneurial, technological, and humanistic side of performing business in Massachusetts. John has been featured as an industry leader in Mortgage Originator, American Banker, Broker, and other industry magazines and newspapers. John received a Bachelor of Science in Economics cum laude from the University of Michigan in 1985. He and his wife, Laurie, live in Wenham with their three children, Matthew, Nicholas, and Lauryn and spends winter weekends skiing with his family at Black Mountain in Jackson NH where he has a second home.
